The value chain at
GR Value

We develop, build, and manage plants within a process that spans from Origination to Operation

Efficient and Steady Energy Production

Thanks to a highly qualified team of experts in the technical and financial management of renewable energy assets, GR Value is able to extract maximum returns by controlling the entire value chain from the origination of greenfield as well as brownfield investment opportunities, through their development, to final permitting. GR Value manages the construction and commissioning of plants, carrying out efficient asset management policies and procedures aimed at ensuring reliable and steady renewable energy production over the years.

01.
Origination

The Origination department is responsible for creating investment opportunities (greenfield or brownfield) in the photovoltaic, wind sectors (onshore and offshore) and energy storage. This is possible thanks to the acquisition of operational assets on the market or the identification of potential sites suitable for project development, meanwhile managing all necessary technical and administrative evaluations as well as establishing relationships with all the stakeholders involved in the Company’s projects.

02.
Engineering

Engineering is the phase in which every aspect of the project is fully defined, from the plant layout which shows the characteristics of the chosen equipments to the integration of the plant into the territory according to established criteria, constraints, requirements, and regulatory guidelines, all supported by specialist studies. Engineering is also responsible for the final draft of the executive project, complete with all the specifications detailing performance, technical, and economic elements of the plant.

03.
Project Development & Management

From the technical and administrative evaluations required for project development to the obtainment of permits (including secondary permits), Project Development & Management is responsible for the construction of the plant and its efficient management in the building phase. This includes scheduling and coordinating activities to ensure the project is completed according to agreed timelines, budget, and costs, as defined by the Company’s guidelines.

04.
Construction

Construction encompasses analysis management, and control of on-site work while scheduling of time and costs, always ensuring the highest attention to worker safety. It’s the monitoring of materials, supplier performance, safety provisions, and compliance with contractual conditions. But it’s also the measurement and accounting evaluation of the work, the verification of any deviations for the timely implementation of corrective actions and the commissioning and start-up of the plant.

05.
Financing

The Financing department analyses key financial parameters in order to set the economic and financial feasibility of projects under development. Upon obtaining the necessary authorizations, it identifies financial institutions to secure funding under the best market conditions for approved projects. It also ascertains that authorized projects obtain the most advantageous long-term energy sales contracts (PPA Agreements) and the appropriate insurance coverage throughout construction and operation phases.

06.
Procurement

Procurement is responsible for the purchase of equipments and services necessary for development, construction, and operation and maintenance of plants—from the qualification of the suppliers to the negotiation and contract phase. In collaboration with other departments, it selects those companies qualified for carrying out the assigned tasks, and manages the tender procedure, whether it is for technological equipment supply (PV Modules, Transformers, Wind Turbine Towers) or specialized services.

07.
O&M - Asset Management

O&M plays a key role in the phase of commissioning overseeing the activation and grid connection of installations before taking full responsibility for operation and maintenance activities. It manages big data collected from control systems to optimize preventive and corrective maintenance and maximize plant availability. It also deals with energy sales contracts and all regulatory compliance requirements with the authorities in charge throughout the whole operational phase.

Big data analysis

Big Data management: The Power of Technology, The Human Perspective.

We use big data not only to measure standard performances, but to maximize operational hours of our plants. We predict failures and obsolescence before they occur thanks to precise data analysis and information gathered directly from the field.

Specific expertise in collecting, selecting, and managing the electrical, mechanical, and physical parameters generated by our plants.

Stakeholderand and Data Analysis

We use big data to ensure that all key stakeholders remain aligned

  • Forecasting obsolescence
  • Forecasting malfunctions and breakdowns
  • Forecasting critical weather events
  • Forecasting production peaks and drops
